Hello. This is my first time publishing. I guess you could say that I am a blogging virgin. . .
This is going to be an attempt to chronicle my life in east-central Illinois. I have lived here for the last five years. I am originally from north-west Wisconsin and have lived in South Dakota, Indiana, Minnesota and Illinois. I guess you could say that I am a true mid-westerner.
You may ask why I have named my blog "Life in the flatland", well even if you don't ask, I will tell you. I have named it because this is by far the FLATTEST place that I have ever lived in my life. Hopefully, I won't be too boring for you. I have inspiration from a few ladies who make me laugh. Check out my good friend Stephanie's blog. I also am a regular reader of Erin Obrien and Heather Armstrong.
